Associate Professor Junshi Ito will be awarded the 2021 Syono Award

It has been decided that Associate Professor Junshi Ito of our laboratory will receive the 2021 Meteorological Society Syono Award.

• Winner: Junshi Ito (Graduate School of Science, Tohoku University)
• Research achievement: Research on atmospheric boundary layers and mesoscale phenomena using high-resolution numerical models

The Syono Award is given to young researchers who have made valuable research in meteorology and meteorological technology.
